About Linda Banta
With more than 22 years of experience as a private professional fiduciary, Linda Banta has been responsible for managing the financial and personal affairs of children and adults, especially the elderly. Before starting her practice as a private fiduciary, she was a social work professional, managing the Public Guardian’s office as well as working with abused and neglected children.
She held the position of Trust Officer for Alameda County Social Services. She understands and appreciates the role and responsibilities of a fiduciary. Linda’s qualifications include:
- A Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of California at Berkeley, with a major in History.
- Charter member of the Professional Fiduciary Association of California (PFAC) and former Secretary on the PFAC state board.
- Former instructor for the Professional Fiduciary Certificate Program at Cal State University Fullerton.
- Member of the National Guardianship Association.
- Licensed California Fiduciary and a Registered Guardian. She is bondable and carries professional liability insurance.
